Andrew James Kitchens and Bedrooms provide quality made to measure kitchens and bespoke bedrooms in Leeds and across the Yorkshire region.
The business was initially established by Andrew Lee in 2005 but its roots and background can date back to the 1980’s and Andrews father’s fitted furniture company Hobson and Lee.
Andrew set up his own business known as Woodworking Solutions. The business quickly gained a reputation in the Yorkshire area for high quality handmade joinery and Andrew soon realised that there was a need for a truly hand crafted kitchen and bedroom specialist.
Taking onboard the bespoke approach to cabinet building and carpentry, Andrew combined this with today’s finest materials, traditional joinery techniques and the latest machinery to create a unique kitchen and bedroom furniture company that is focused on quality, attention to detail and, more importantly, making furniture that fits in with the customer’s home and lifestyle.
Operating out of Leeds, our small and dedicated team have a genuine passion for our craft and take immense pride in every bespoke kitchen or hand crafted bedroom furniture created.

Andrew
Andrew has been designing and building furniture from an early age. By working with his father (Dave) in his childhood, Andrew discovered a love for carpentry and the tools of the trade.
Peter
Peter served his apprenticeship with Andrew’s father in 1986 and spent 12 years with Hobson & Lee. Continuing in the kitchen & bedroom industry he has worked in every aspect of fitted furniture from manufacturing to installation.
Alan
Alan is a natural carpenter who followed his father’s footsteps. He became a highly skilled furniture craftsman during his teenage years and has continued to work in the industry ever since. Andy & Alan Became friends through Sports Acrobatics and have worked well together for many years.
Ruth
Ruth has been married to Andrew since 2003 and has quickly developed a passion for bespoke furniture. She provides much needed administrative support to the team and looks after the customer service aspects of the business.
